The Shimano Baitrunner D series is the product of precise engineering advances in Shimano’s premium bait fishing range. This series has raised the bar on previous models and now can deliver the most impressive bait runner that New Zealand angler’s have ever seen.

The range comes in four models, which have been designed with Kiwi saltwater anglers in-mind, which can cover a number of different fishing styles such as saltwater casting from the shore or boat or stylising lightly weighted baits down a berley slick intended for XOS snapper.

Each model has a water-proof drag system, Vary-Speed oscillation, cold forged aluminium spool, lightweight yet strong graphite body with metallic black finish, Power Roller III, Super Stopper II, Dyna-Balance and propulsion line management system so that your reel can cope with the increasing popularity of using such reels with braided super lines such as Power Pro.
